Neighbourhood Madonnas' in London Fashion Week 2012

"To coincide with the London Fashion Week 2012 the Hungarian Cultural Centre opens the photo exhibition of the talented young Hungarian photographer Lili Zoé Érmezei, who has made a special selection of her photography for this unique occasion. The collection comprises photographs of ordinary women and models who radiate like iconic Madonna figures of our everyday lives. Lili Zoé Érmezei holds an MA from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest. She also attended the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera of Milano. Her work has been shown at several solo and group exhibitions in Hungary as well as in Paris, London, Cologne, Helsinki, Luxembourg and Krakow. Femininity, the female body and body image constitute her key topic. Lili’s photograph called ‘Judith’ was exhibited in The Mall Galleries London in June as a finalist selected from the 6000 entries at the successful International Renaissance Photography Prize 2012 exhibition."
